Is hell a place of utter hopelessness?
Is hell a place where hope is offered but rejected?
Is hell a place of complete pain?
I believe hell exists. I believe we glimpse it hear and now sometimes.
Is it a place absent of God? I don't see how it can be, for surely God is present everywhere. 'Where can I go from your presence O Lord?'
Something only exists because God 'says' it exists. All things are held together in Christ. SO where does that leave us with our theology of hell?
Seven has got me thinking about this because of its image of complete hopelessness. Hell on earth.
Initial thoughts which I will dig deeper into.
